This is the website of our Picture Framing, Art and Craft shop specialising in Card Making and Scrapbooking Supplies, as well as various Art Materials.

LOYALTY CARD
We run a Loyalty Card - for every £10.00 spent in one transaction on craft items, we add a stamp to your loyalty card, which takes ten stamps to fill. When you next visit our Sunderland shop, the full card gives you £10.00 off anything we sell, not just craft. This is our way of saying thank you for shopping with us and giving you a 10% discount off all your purchases.
The building has four stories - the basement is the picture framing workshop.
The ground floor is the main shop which has a huge range of craft materials for all your card making and scrapbooking supplies.
To name but a few:- card, paper, envelopes, poly bags, glitters, glues, foam pads, double sided tapes, embelishments, ribbons, flower soft, pergamano, punches, stencils, clear stamps and wooden stamps, stamp pads, heat guns embossing powders, glitter glues, d'coupage, toppers, a huge range of peeloffs for all occasions and many more, too many to mention.
We keep a regular stock of DMC threads, aida, needles and a small supply of cross stitch kits.
We stock from many famous card making and non card making suppliers such as La Pashe, Do Crafts (Design Objectives), Kanban, Kars, Hunkydory, Personal Impressions, Creative Films, Craft Creations, Letraset, Styx 2, Royal Brush, Pergamano, Artstat, DMC, Anchor, Daler Rowney, Colourful Arts, Craftstyle, Crafter's Companion, Keepsake (The Glitter Girls), S.E. Simons, Payper Box, Dufex, Cummins & Papyrus, Arqadia, D & J Simons, Budget, Magmaker, House of Handicrafts, Katy Sue Designs (flower soft), Crafts Too, Trevor Green, Classic Collections, Robert Wild, Bob Olley, Pinflair, Heartbreak Publishers, Marking World, S. B. Weston, Crafttime, Impex, Stamp Addicts, MIC and Creative Expressions. As well as others, just as good, but not always as well known.
We also display a large amount of local scene pictures of the North East and Northumberland coastline, as well as general prints.
We frame anything
including prints, posters, photographs, tapestries, needlecrafts, medals, football shirts, in fact all kinds of sports shirts. Also certificates, original artworks, limited editions, all kinds of student works and we once framed a kitchen sink, with a running tap, which was on display in our shop window.
We can supply you with readimade frames, swept frames and bespoke frames
made from our large range of mouldings on display in our ground floor.

We stock Daler Rowney Georgian Oil paints, System 3 Acrylic paints, Aquafine Watercolour paints, Artists' Watercolour paints and Designer Gouache paints.

As well as portfolios, easels and a huge selection of canvases on our lst floor, we keep a selection of readimade picture mounts and picture frames, including swept frames.
Liz Bratton is the owner of the Card Making shop called City Art Store, 23, Vine Place, Sunderland SR1 3NA Telephone number 0191 565 9254 and along with her specialist staff, she is there to help you with your craft, art and picture framing requirements.
We also have a large picture gallery on the first floor of the building housing many local scenes of Sunderland, Newcastle and the Northumberland Coast. Numerous football prints and pictures, especially of Sunderland players over the years.
On the top floor we run craft classes taking place every Saturday morning and afternoon which are run by Kim Williamson.
Now also running a craft class on a Thursday morning 10.00 a.m until 12.00 noon by our latest staff member, Lesa Deacon.

The bespoke picture framing is taken to the Sunderland workshop which is located in the basement of our four storey building and then returned to Newcastle for collection.
